For Some Reason

For some reason I prefer looking at faces with overbites

As opposed to underbites

Sounds like a snack

Overbites?

Oh, sure. Just a few, I’m watching my figure.

I’ve practiced in the mirror

Giving myself an overbite

Then switching to the underone

Upperlowerbites

Peeling my lips back

Even I look better with an overbite

You often see famous actors with speech impediments

Overbites

But you seldom see any prominent individuals 

Bearing underbites

No one wants to look at them

They’re too snarly looking to get a job

I met a guy in a California detox

Whose face was crushed in a horrible automobile collision

He was a mortician, and so was his best friend

The friend was also a reconstructive surgeon

Together

They rebuild his face with chrome plates and steel pins

And three miles of wire

Reconstructive surgeons put flesh on the mess

Sixty operations

His ass must have looked like a strip mine

He came out looking okay

Except for the slight overbite and platinum grin

The maniacal blue flare in his eye
